With the battle of Earth now taking place, Athren was just about ready to pick his moment and make his arrival. Though for now he was taking a few moments for himself. He had spent months preparing for this and he already knew the outcome. The saiyan warrior was planning to go out in a final stand, he planned to face down Arctic alone and go out the way any saiyan warrior should but now that the moment was here he wanted an additional few minutes. Though he had one thing to be grateful for and that was the fact that his village had now been emptied and on board his ship and in space along with his children. The people and his kids were safe from the threat that was now on Earth, the threat that Callion, Ayu, Opherla and somebody else were now trying to face down.
He sat in the chair in the hall in his house overlooking all the empty tables, he was in his super saiyan form without any armor. He didn't exactly find it as necessary. It wasn't going to change the outcome of the fight that he was going to. It didn't matter how good the armor was, nothing was going to save him from the death that was coming. Though it was strange, as he sat here he was somewhat grateful for the events of Earth. He had managed to become a Super Saiyan and even go further beyond those limits, he had brought his kids back and kept them safe up until this point. Hell, he even managed to take down Liari and keep the Earth safe for a short period of time. If he had to admit he had come a long way from when he first arrived on Earth and he couldn't help but be proud.
This was all going to come to an end for he knew that in a very brief period of time his story would come to an end and that he'd find himself in the otherworld. He knew how he wanted to go out, he was going to go out on his own terms and try to deal as much damage he could to Arctic before he made the pass to the Otherworld. Whether or not things would go this way, he was going to fight his heart out until the killing blow. In fact, he was just about to use his instant transmission. He could sense the shift of Opherla and her companion and it seemed as if the odds were stacking against Callion and Ayu now. Even with Zak's arrival, the situation seemed hopeless. If he could swap places with Callion maybe the Earth would have a chance but just before he could leave another power level had got his attention.
This power level was in his village. It wasn't something he would deem a threat but it was a curious thing. Who was here? Why were they here? The village was empty.

In her short time on Earth, Lilith had really come to appreciate just how beautiful it is.
Earthlings took it for granted, noses buried in those little devices they carried everywhere with them, or so focused on each other they missed the grandeur of the world around them. The Demon World had its views, of course; bloodstained battlefields of blue grass, covered in the banners and armors of factions long since forgotten to history. And though the battlefields were ancient, far beyond what Earth could provide, there was so much to be seen that it wasn’t a great loss.
Lilith certainly didn’t miss it.
Rivers fed into gullies fed into streams, fingers of water cascading down a mighty mountain. Of all the things in the Human World, it was mountains she liked the most. Perhaps she related to them; isolated, lonely peaks, topped with ice and rock and standing proud and strong over everybody around her. Though … perhaps that last part wasn’t true. Coming into service of Arctic, and more recently her promotions and mission on Earth, has given her an entire new dimension of comparison, and in it she was small scale.
She had to get stronger, stay relevant, and the best way to do that was to fight people with such overwhelming strength, it shook her to her core. There is strength in overcoming that. Of course, Arctic was the person she first thought of, but the idea of asking her boss and, she was forced to admit, her hero to spar her at her current strength was nothing short of paralyzing. So she had to aim smaller, some random, powerful nobody; Earth was full of those.
That’s what brought her out here, flying over the forests and craggy outcroppings of this mountain. Earthling media had been quite useful in this aspect, though useless in all others; it had clearly stated that the most powerful masters lived out in the mountains, training or whatever it is they do. Punching trees? Well, regardless, there had to be one out here … somewhere.
It seemed like several hours later when she finally sensed something. Like a roaring flame suddenly blazing into existence, the bonfire of energy acted like a beacon; a moth to a flame, she diverted, leaving only a purple trail behind her as she streaked towards the source of the energy. It was so overwhelming, and her ki sense wasn’t the most accurate on a good day, she could only get within a general area … which appeared to be some shabby little town 500 miles from anywhere. Her nose crinkled as she landed, dry leaves cracking underneath her feet.
”Hello? Any chi masters or Kung Fu guys around?”
Her voice was a growl, brimming with all sorts of emotions it would be hard to pinpoint. As she shouted, she cupped her mouth, her words echoing off the mountain in a strange, eerie way. Perhaps she was wrong? Except no, she still sensed the inferno, and it was coming closer … ! She whirled around, hands held up to either defend herself or die trying.

As he sat in the wooden chair that would almost appear to be a throne in the great hall of his home he had felt the indiviual who came to his village land and begin to walk about. He hadn't been sure why they were here but it seemed as if they were searching for something. This was something he determined simply from sensing the way they moved about when they landed. They weren't headed directly towards him or anything else in particular, instead it seemed as if they had been looking for something. Of course, Athren had found himself occupying sensing out the fight that was in the Frozen North. He was keeping tabs on everything. As of now, it had felt like Callion was powering up and ready to face down Arctic with everything he got. Of course, Athren was tempted to join the fight as well but he was going to wait out and greet this individual who came to his village. He used his telepathy ability and locked onto her with his Ki sense and left a simple message within her mind. His voice was clear and calm yet it had an ounce of determination within it. ~ You'll only find one person remaining in this village and you're more than welcome to come in. The large house under the waterfall. You'll find the door unlocked. ~ If he wasn't focused on sensing out the fight with the Changeling, Athren surely would've used his instant transmission technique to greet the stranger but there really wasn't any point in that now. After all, the very fate of the Earth was at risk and a few of the warriors of Earth were trying their best to prevent the worst case from happening. Athren on the other hand was going to be fighting for something other than Earth but instead his former people, the pride of his race. He had something to prove and he wanted to show Arctic that one saiyan of Vegeta would stand up to him without fear and fight until the end. If this stranger were to come into his home, the door would lead to a large dining hall with a chair at the end of it with tables running up both sides of the room. This room was essentially used for the community and Athren had hosted them frequently. If people required food or other essentials, he was happy enough to provide but that had already seemed like a lifetime ago. They had only left within the hour but the mass change had left Athren rather unsettled. As he sensed the fight he couldn't do anything more than wait for the stranger to make their way towards him. He was rather curious what they had been doing there but he was surely going to inform them of the situation. If it was shelter they had been looking for, they'd have to find somewhere else to go as this village was now abandoned until further notice.
